EncontrArte Qualidade de Vida Através da Arte

EncontrArte is a cultural organization with more than two decades of work, founded in 2002 and based in Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense. Its core mission is to promote quality of life through the arts, developing projects aimed at democratizing access to culture, artistic training, and valuing the region's cultural heritage.

The organization operates on several fronts, with a focus on promoting theater, video production training and production, and hosting exhibitions and cultural showcases. Its main projects include the Festival EncontrArte Teatro, which for more than twenty years has built audiences and fostered the theater scene, and the Escola de Cinema EncontrArte Audiovisual, which offers free training and boosts local production.

Officially recognized as a Pontão de Cultura by the Ministério da Cultura, EncontrArte has established itself as a key institution for cultural development in Baixada Fluminense. Its work focuses on creating opportunities, training new artists and audiences, and preserving the community's memory and artistic expressions.
