Privacy Policy and Cookies

This Policy explains what personal data Produtoras de Vídeo collects while offering user accounts and free tools, what we use it for, who we share it with, and how you exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Data controller and scope of application

1.1. This Privacy Policy describes how the Produtoras de Vídeo platform (produtorasdevideo.com.br), headquartered in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, acting as data controller, processes personal data, under Law No. 13,709/2018 (Brazil's General Data Protection Law, "LGPD") and Law No. 12,965/2014 (the Marco Civil da Internet, Brazil's Civil Rights Framework for the Internet).

1.2. This Policy applies to every visitor, registered user, production company manager and professional who accesses, browses, creates an account, or uses the site's free tools. It complements the Terms of Use and Legal Notice; in the event of a conflict regarding the processing of personal data, this Policy prevails.

1.3. The public data of companies indexed in the directory (B2B) has its origin, legal basis and removal procedure described in the Terms of Use. This Policy addresses, above all, the personal data of natural persons who interact with the platform.

2. Data we collect

2.1. Registration and account data. When you create an account by email and password or by social login (Google), we collect your name, email address and, where applicable, profile photo and account identifier. Authentication and credential storage are handled by the identity provider (see Section 6). We do not have access to your password in plain text.

2.2. Production company link (manager). When you link yourself to a production company, we process the data necessary to verify that link (email, declared role, indicated production company) and the history of requests and edits made in the dashboard.

2.3. Free tools. The site's tools (e.g., script generator, commercial proposal generator, script duration calculator, teleprompter, image usage authorization form, audio extraction) process the content you type or submit to generate the requested result. Drafts may be kept locally in your browser (local device storage) and are not sent to our servers while they remain there.

2.4. Usage and telemetry data. We log tool usage events (tool accessed, action performed, date and time, account identifier or anonymous identifier, IP address and technical request metadata, including artificial intelligence processing consumption). These records support usage quotas, abuse prevention and service operation.

2.5. IP address. We collect and store the IP address of requests to the tools as a second ceiling for usage quotas (an anti-abuse limit independent of cookies) and as an internet application access log required under the Marco Civil da Internet.

2.6. Cookies and identifiers. We use cookies and equivalent technologies, including an anonymous identification cookie for tool quota control, session cookies to keep you signed in, audience measurement cookies, and advertising and marketing cookies. Details are in Section 5.

2.7. Contact data. When you use the contact form or request profile removal, we process the data you provide (name, email and the content of the message) to reply and follow up on the request.

3.1. We process personal data for the following purposes, with the respective LGPD legal bases:

4. Sharing and processors

4.1. We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with processors who handle data on our behalf and under our instructions, to the extent necessary to operate the service:

4.2. We may also share data to comply with a court order, a request from a competent authority, or to exercise or defend rights in legal proceedings.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

5.1. Strictly necessary cookies. Essential for the site to work and exempt from consent. These include the session cookies that keep you signed in and the anonymous identification cookie pdv_ferramentas, used to count free tool usage and enforce quotas.

5.2. Audience measurement cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Since they are not strictly necessary, they depend on your consent: they remain disabled until you accept via the cookie notice shown on your first visit. You can decline without losing access to the content or the tools.

5.3. Advertising and marketing cookies. We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the effectiveness of our ads and display relevant advertising on Meta's platforms. Since they are not strictly necessary, they also depend on your consent: the Pixel starts with consent revoked and does not send events to Meta until you accept via the cookie notice. Declining does not affect access to the content or the tools.

5.4. Consent management. Your choice in the cookie notice is stored in your browser and applies to the audience measurement and advertising cookies. You can review it at any time by clearing your browser data for the site, which will show the notice again on your next visit.

6. International data transfer

6.1. Some processors listed in Section 4 process or store data on servers located outside Brazil. In such cases, the international transfer complies with the LGPD (Art. 33 et seq.), based on a contract with the processor and the protection safeguards it offers.

7. Retention and deletion

7.1. We keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes of this Policy, or for the applicable legal retention periods. Internet application access logs are kept for the minimum period required under the Marco Civil da Internet.

7.2. Once the purpose has been fulfilled, the data is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is authorized under Art. 16 of the LGPD (compliance with a legal obligation, exercise of rights in legal proceedings, and other cases provided for by law).

8. Information security

8.1. We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access and against destruction, loss, alteration or improper disclosure, including encrypted transmission, access control, and the use of providers that maintain recognized security practices.

9. Data subject rights

9.1. Under Art. 18 of the LGPD, you may, at any time and upon request, obtain: confirmation that processing is taking place; access to the data; correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in violation of the law; portability; deletion of data processed on the basis of consent; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent.

9.2. To exercise your rights, write to contato@produtorasdevideo.com.br. We may request information to confirm your identity before fulfilling the request. We will respond within the applicable legal deadline.

9.3. Account removal can be requested through the same channel and does not affect records whose retention is required by law.

10. Data of children and teenagers

10.1. The site is intended for professionals and businesses (a B2B audience) and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not intentionally collect data from children or teenagers. If improper processing is identified, the data will be deleted.

11. Changes to this Policy

11.1. This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the site's channels.

12. Contact

12.1. Questions about this Policy or about the processing of your data can be sent to contato@produtorasdevideo.com.br.
