Ñanduti Cine is a video production company founded by women filmmakers, rooted in the border region, particularly Foz do Iguaçu. Driven by a desire to break down territorial boundaries and foster encounters, the company is dedicated to creating stories that place gender issues, territories, landscapes, and international solidarity at the center of the image. Its name, inspired by the Paraguayan craft 'ñanduti' (spider web in Guarani), symbolizes the act of weaving narratives with multiple threads and colors. The company operates as a space for creation and an ongoing laboratory for screenwriting, production, and filmmaking, both at the border and beyond it. In addition to its own productions, Ñanduti Cine is interested in hosting and promoting film showcases with diverse approaches and territorial perspectives, contributing to the democratization of access to audiovisual work and audience development in the region. The team includes experienced professionals such as Fran Rebelatto (director, screenwriter, and producer, also a university professor), Fran Farias (producer), and Élida Bueno (art director, screenwriter, and editor), as well as associate producer Nay Araujo.
